Food Fight

“Rat-a-tat-tat, take that you bland American hot dog! The Japanese sushi knew this would be an easy fight because he was tastier and healthier then his foe and he also had all his fellow types of sushi backing him up. The maki and the nigiri and the rest of his brethren sushi would be there for him in the great food fight.”

In Japanese cuisine, Sushi, Sushi is made of vinegared rice combined with various toppings or fillings, which includes seafood and can also include vegetables, mushrooms, eggs, or meat. Sushi as an English word has come to refer to the complete dish of rice topped with raw fish or raw fish by itself. But the original term in Japanese refers to the rice, not the fish or other toppings. Sushi rolled in a layer of seaweed is called maki. Sushi made with toppings laid onto hand-formed clumps of rice is called nigiri and sushi made with toppings stuffed into a small pouch of fried tofu is called inari.

The hot dog is a sausage that is generally made from either pork, beef or a combination of the two wrapped in a bun. The hot dog is a traditional American food that is also called frankfurters or franks for short or wieners or weenies.

Okinawa T’s is pleased to offer this high quality piece of wearable aviation art portraying a  food fight between an American hot dog and its Japanese sushi rival. This is a really fun design that refuses to take anything seriously.
